Vancouver is one of the few places in the world where you can lie on a warm beach and ski the mountain slopes in the same afternoon. A land with beauty unrivaled, Vancouver is best experienced on foot while hiking the mountains, on the water whale watching as the sun sets over the Pacific, or taking in a delicious meal in one of Vancouver’s kitschy, eclectic neighborhoods. A gem on the western coast, Vancouver is a treat for anyone. Come join us as we explore this fantastic region on a budget!

Your lead for this experience will be Wanderlust:Wanderlearn’s Founder Simone Kuzma. A world traveler, she lived for many years in Vancouver. She knows this area like the back of her hand and can show you the best off the beaten path and will share with you her favorite local finds!

Experience the W:W Difference!!!
W:W trips are different than what you will find anywhere else. Our trips emphasize travel experiences and cultural education as well as immersion in the local destination. W:W travelers are mentally active and are curious about the world around them. By learning how to travel and interact with locals, you will break down the cultural barriers to appreciate and absorb the world around you in a whole new way! Come and live the W:W EXPERIENCE!

Limited Group Size
All Wanderlust:Wanderlearn trips are small groups only (think 6-15 travelers). We do this so that you can have an up-close-and-personal, hands-on travel experience. The small group size also allows for truer cultural immersion and one-on-one learning opportunities with your WanderLearn Lead.  This all makes a better experience for YOU and for the group as a whole.

Day 2: Vancouver, Canada Saturday June 24, 2017

After a good night’s sleep we’ll start our day exploring Stanley Park. Located just west of downtown on the ocean, it’s a gorgeous area to relax in. We’ll then head downtown to explore this famous “City of Glass” form the inside out. After lunch we’ll take a water taxi to False Creek and Granville Island and make a stop at the Market there for dessert! We’ll then set out on foot to the kitschy, eclectic neighborhoods of Kitsilano and take in the Saturday night vibe of VanCity! Traveler’s estimated daily costs: $30-$50

Day 3: Vancouver, Canada Sunday June 25, 2017

Today we’ll spend the day north of Vancouver in, you guessed it, North Van! Built into the sides of mountains, North Van is simply gorgeous! After taking a ferry across the harbour, we’ll stop for breakfast at Lonsdale Quay. With our bellies full we’ll take a short trip north to the world famous Capilano Suspension bridge whered you can tough the tree tops with your fingertips! Day 4: Whistler/Blackcomb, Canada Monday June 26, 2017

Today we’ll pack our lunches for a day in the mountains! Whistler/Blackcomb is most well known as one of the world’s best ski resorts, but in the summer it provides world famous hiking! We’ll spend a full day in the area and you’ll get to take your pick of hikes in Garabaldi Provincial Park – stunning! My personal favorite hike is the Musical Bumps Hike, where you’ll follow the Singing Pass Trail and cross Flute, Oboe and Piccolo Summits! Traveler’s estimated daily costs: $50-$100

Day 5: Victoria Island, Canada Tuesday June 27, 2017

While the previous day was all about the mountains, today will be all about the water as we take a whale watching tour to Vancouver Island! Keller whales love the calm waters between Vancouver and Vancouver Island and in mid summer you are almost guaranteed to spot these magnificent beasts! Once we get to Vancouver, we’ll visit the gorgeous town of Victoria and the world renowned Butchart Gardens. Traveler’s estimated daily costs: $300-$350
